Safari Boat Excursions was a dream that began three years ago, sparked by a desire to create a company respectful to the environment, while remaining considerate to the comfort and performance intended for our guests.

One of the newest boats on Maui was designed specifically to fill the needs of any guest. In our efforts to cater to the comforts of our guests we have reduced the number of seats to provide 32 passengers with better viewing and a more comfortable ride. 

With all the amenities of a first class catamaran including spacious leg room, reclined seats, and drink holders, Lanakila also has the ability to outperform any raft.  51 feet long, 12 feet wide, we provide passengers with a state-of-the-art computer designed hull to provide stability even in the roughest water.  In the event of rainy weather, windows can be lowered to continue whale watching in dry and comfortable conditions. 

We operate using the most technologically advanced 355 horsepower engines developed by Cummins to meet our goal of being the most environmentally friendly boat on Maui.  We are proud to share the design of our vessel.   It is our goal to provide our passengers with the experience of a lifetime.  It is time for everyone to take a new look at what is possible in a boat company.
